I collect, use and are responsible for certain personal information about you due to the General Data Protection Regulations which apply across the European Union and the United Kingdom.  

We are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

I collect personal information about you when you access our website, register with me, contact me, send me feedback, purchase products or services via my website, post material to my website and social media sites and/or complete customer surveys.

The personal information I collect about you depends on the particular activities carried out through my website. This information includes:

I routinely share categories of personal data with my third party suppliers. A list of those suppliers which is subject to change is set out below;  

Wix - my website hosting platform

Thrivecart - my online sales cart provider

Paypal – to allow me to process payments electronically  

Thinkific – to allow me to provide our online content

Flodesk - my crm 

 

This data sharing enables them to provide services to me and you, and I will not at any time use your data for any third party marketing. I may also share your data with third parties to whom I may choose to provide professional and other subcontracting services. I require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy. 

 

Some of those third party recipients may be based outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area 

I will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law. 

I will not share your personal information with any other third party unless I expressly tell you I am going to do so. You are under no obligation to share any information I tell you I'm going to share.

Whether information has to be provided by you, and if so why

I require you to provide name, address, email address and home address to enable me to provide my services to you, formalise a contract between us amongst other reasons. I will inform you at the point of collecting information from you, whether you are required to provide the information to me.

 

Transfer of your information out of the UK and EEA

I may transfer your personal information to the following (Wix, Thrivecart, Thinkific, Flodesk) which are located outside the United Kingdom (UK) and European Economic Area (EEA) such as the USA where some of my service providers may be resident.
Whenever I transfer your personal data out of these areas we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to you.

A cookie is a small text file which is placed onto your device (eg computer, smartphone or other electronic device) when you use my website. I use cookies on our website. These help me recognise you and your device and store some information about your preferences or past actions.

Keeping your personal information secure

I have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way. I limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

I also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. I will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where I am legally required to do so.
